Cinnamon started his dance career at the age of 5 in Manhattan, New York. His roots began in tap and ballet. He soon added hip-hop and freestyle to his dance repertoire. In 1991, Cinnamon was introduced to ballroom dancing by a peer who was a professional competitor. From that day, his love ignited for it, and soon he himself became a professional competitor.
Cinnamon has also taught ballroom for a number of franchised schools as well as independently. Cinnamon is well known in the social community, as he teaches Salsa, Country and West Coast swing, among other dances, at a number of nightclubs in the suburbs and city of Chicago. His experience also includes dancing in commercials, at trade shows, fashion shows and a number of rock opera performances. Cinnamon has also choreographed pieces for Illinois Youth Dance Theatre's production of The Nutcracker.
Known as the ‘feeling instructor’ by his students, Cinnamon helps people feel the difference between the many different styles of dance. Cinnamon has a unique, fun and refreshing approach to teaching and helping his students reach their goals. His skill, professionalism and personal approach puts his clients at ease, enabling them to learn and perform at their very best.

Jack Simborg has been a musician since he started taking classical piano lessons when he was 7 years old. When he was 12, he found the School of Rock in Chicago and began taking lessons there. Between the ages of 12-18 he took a combination of guitar, bass, keyboard and vocal lessons. He continued to pursue his passion for music by attending Berklee College of Music in Boston. After completing the core music program, Jack moved back to Chicago and played in various local bands. He joined the School of Rock Mokena staff in the summer of 2018 and now owns and operates School of Rock Arlington Heights, as well as playing bass for local band Fecto Glen.
